Museum Trip: De Pont & Audax Textielmuseum - Part I

Today I went to two museums, De Pont (museum of contemporary art), and the Audax Textielmuseum (textile museum), both in Tilburg, the Netherlands. My mum went with me and my dad visited a friend of his while we were at the museum. Afterwards we went for a drink, went shopping and had dinner too. I only got home a while ago. The actual plan was to visit the Hermitage Amsterdam, for an exhibition about the Russian Court, but because of the weather (and some bad reviews and long lines at the entrance) we decided against going and "just went somewhere else". I was actually going to drag my boyfriend along to Tilburg tomorrow. Now we're going to the movies (Avatar in 3D!). :)
Anyway, I had visited both museums once before, at the start of September this year, but because of two temporary exhibitons (and just for the sake of visiting museums more regularely) I wanted to visit both, again.

De Pont, museum for Contemporary Art:
I wanted to go to De Pont again because of an exhibition about Bill Viola. He is well known for his video art. Because we were at the museum anyway, we first had a look at the permanent collection.
I'll soon add some photographs and information about the art that caught my eye (beware, I love most art and even more when I get to know some more information about it).

Some of the pictures are taken from an angle, to avoid a distracting reflection.

Even though I tend to be a little claustrophobic, this space didn't scare me as much as I thought it might have. And do I ever love the smell of beeswax...
