DFMD: De Woelmuis (The Vole)

 *Note: This message is antedated.

I love voles, so I drew some.

I adore the head, the body is too much like a teddybear's.

More pictures coming soon!

DFMD: Planets

*Note: This message is antedated. It was originally posted on the 6th of January, 2010.

I was trying to come up with something to doodle, when I remembered an old exercise I learnt at a course I once did. You were supposed to grab a very large piece of paper and then draw some circles on it (they always reminded me of planets, I remember giving them names, too...). Then you started drawing straight lines, as neat as you could, and you had to make the lines go around the circles, so you had to start early deforming the lines. The picture should be able to explain it better than I can.

This wasn't necessarily an exercise in (straight) lines, I just like drawing these things...

DFMD: The Rainbow Sheep

*Note: this message is antedated.

Yes. Sheep. And it gets even better...

Rainbow Sheep!

Blame this all on my boyfriend, since he's the one who sent me an icon of a very, very, colourful little sheep, that bounced. Yes you read it well, it bounced.

I loved it so much I just had to draw it. And keep drawing it.
And then I even made a necklace of it.

As for the future, as soon as I've got enough colours of fabric paint, I'm even going to put this on a shirt. It will be the best shirt ever. Beat that.

Jewellery on display!

Today my dad made me a jewellery display (for earrings). I love it to bits!
It still needs to be painted black though. I actually like the original colour a lot, but because of soldering the parts together the metal is stained, which I don't like in a jewelry display I'll probably use for selling stuff.

Anyway, the creating of this jewellery display gave a great opportunity to show off some of the earrings I made during the last 6 months. ^^

From my private collection:

Other (these actually are for sale):

Enjoy :) And please let me know what you think about them. I just occasionally mess around with beads. In my own opinion, at least half of these earrings are a bit dull. I'm an artist! I should be more creative. Think outside the box. Hmm...

We're All Mad Here...

...And You Know It.

So, I've been neglecting my blog a lot, something I dreaded from the very beginning I made this account.
Oh well, I promise I will get some photographs of my recent work. A lot of jewellery, some drawings and sketches... Perhaps even some work I did for school?

Here's an example of a pair of earrings I made:

It's not a very good photograph, but it was done in a hurry (I had already sold them when I realised I didn't have any photographs of this :P So, remember, when I need a quick photograph of something for this blog the quality may not be all that great, but in the end I'll make better photographs, especially when things are for sale) Anyway, I made these cuties last summer, but sold them last week to my grandmother (as a gift to my niece). I do hope she likes them!
I think I'm going to make more earrings like these, they'll be different though, since I don't have hoops like those anymore.

The essence of waterproof colours?

I like that the environment of these pictures takes the colour of the complementary colour of the picture. :3

A picture made or school, not as good picture but for keeping up with the process of an assignment. Then I drew it.

DFMD: Ballpoint Poses

*Note: This message is antedated. It was originally posted on the 16th of December, 2009.

While being on school I tried to quickly grasp some of the poses my classmates held, without them knowing of course. Precision didn't matter, only the flow and proportions.
