Emilie Autumn Gift Project: The Mobile (forum), Part V
Part I, Part II, Part III, Part IV.
Guess what I've been working on tonight?
Later this evening...
Almost finished! I really love these, it'll be so hard to part with either of them.
I just have to cut off the ribbon at equal lengths, and figure out if I'm going to put some more decoration on them (like fake blood or glitters or something).

Part I, Part II, Part III - Of the Emilie Autumn Gift Project: The Mobile (forum stuff).
This isn't really about the Emilie Autumn Gift Project anymore, but I thought I'd just name it anyway.

Header 03
It's been snowing again...
I made another header with a picture from my Winter Garden Wonderland photoshoot. To be honest, I don't like the text, it looks too smooth. But I'm too tired to do much about it.
Turns out, I forgot my signature. Damn. Well, better next time.
Edit: Better version!
I still don't like the smooth text anyway. And the signature is a bit too grey, methinks.

Emilie Autumn Gift Project: The Mobile (forum), Part III & Other Felt Trinkets
Part I and Part II of "the Emilie Autumn gift project: the mobile".
Today I continued to work with the felt trinkets I started making yesterday. Because I didn't have enough white felt anymore I couldn't give the teapot another shot (or do the teacup), so I decided to try out some more shapes and well, I really like the hearts actually. I might either give them to Emilie and the Crumpets at the gig, or put them in my webshop once that opens. If I'd use them as gifts, I'll probably decorate them some more, embroidre their initial on it or something like that.

Emilie Autumn Gift Project: The Mobile (forum), Part II
PART I
It's been a while since I did anything real for the Emilie Autumn forum gift project, the mobile. I did think a lot about it, but never got around doing something, making something, or even posting my sketches on the forum until today.
Today I got my felt, and the lovely thread my mum got me (all colours of the rainbow! Yay!) and started to make some try-outs.
My first ideas were a bit complex, and though the concept was nice, the actual 3D making of a teacup and teapot, by sewing, I realised wasn't really going to happen. Too much work and I'm too much of an amateur to do that.
So I rethought how I was going to make this and came up with a very easy way (perhaps a little too easy, but still. I might even make these things for my future webshop...)
Unfortunately I didn't have much white felt so I could only make the teapot, and not the teacup yet. The teapot isn't the final one, anyway. I don't like the ear, it's too floppy, so I'm going to make a new one. It was absolutely easy to make this, and that makes me really happy, and positive about what's coming :)
After the teapot, I decided I would probably make Emilie and the crumpets each a little felt trinket, because I still wanted to give them something all on my own, but I hadn't come up with a good idea yet. So, for now, I'll stick with the felt trinkets. :)
Anyway, here are today's results;
By the way, the thread used in the teapot is actually bright pink.
Of course, this is all undecorated.
