DFMD: Abstract(ed) Ballpoint

Finding the round shapes of the cow interesting, I tried to draw it, not perfectly realistic, but with round shapes.

An abstract building, drawn with my eyes closed most of the time.

Emilie Autumn Gift Project: The Mobile (forum), Part I

*Note: This message is antedated. It was originally posted on the 1st of February, 2010.

Someone at the Emilie Autumn Forum suggested we would make a mobile for Emilie together, and give it to her at the gig (March the first, 2010, at the Effenaar, Eindhoven, The Netherlands).

These are my first sketches, I might change a lot about them, though.
Also, you'll notice I did a lot of thinking about the mobile/structure itself. My ideas may be a bit complex, but blame the perfectionist in me. It's just thinking anyway, since I won't be the one making the actual mobile, and the person who is will be keeping it simple (which is a very wise thing to do :P)

DFMD: De Woelmuis (The Vole)

 *Note: This message is antedated.

I love voles, so I drew some.

I adore the head, the body is too much like a teddybear's.

More pictures coming soon!

DFMD: Planets

*Note: This message is antedated. It was originally posted on the 6th of January, 2010.

I was trying to come up with something to doodle, when I remembered an old exercise I learnt at a course I once did. You were supposed to grab a very large piece of paper and then draw some circles on it (they always reminded me of planets, I remember giving them names, too...). Then you started drawing straight lines, as neat as you could, and you had to make the lines go around the circles, so you had to start early deforming the lines. The picture should be able to explain it better than I can.

This wasn't necessarily an exercise in (straight) lines, I just like drawing these things...

DFMD: Ballpoint Poses

*Note: This message is antedated. It was originally posted on the 16th of December, 2009.

While being on school I tried to quickly grasp some of the poses my classmates held, without them knowing of course. Precision didn't matter, only the flow and proportions.

DFMD: Faces Like Mine I

*Title from that Emilie Autumn song.
*Note: This message is antedated.

I suppose I like drawing faces, and I do love a little variation from time to time, here and there. Well, usually more often than that.
Here are some "different" faces. There are a few among these that I'm quite fond of, actually (the first and the last one).
